The Bloom Cookery and Nutrition Course is a rare opportunity to learn from both an expert in nutrition and an experienced holistic chef at the same time, all in the stunning surroundings of Monte Soratte, near Rome.

This means that you will come away with a high level of understanding, knowledge and practical skills, as well as recipes you will treasure, taste combinations you never want to forget and a mindfulness around food that will change the way you cook, eat and nourish yourself for the rest of your life.

Putting cookery and nutrition together seems like a no-brainer, but it’s surprising how rarely this is properly achieved. Every time you eat something you are affecting your health and well-being, so it’s important to have a sound understanding of how to give yourself the food you need. And yet we have developed a fear that you can either be a proper gastronome and enjoy your food or eat healthily, but not both at the same time. At Bloom, we understand that in order to fully nourish yourself, you absolutely need to love what you’re eating. Your food needs to awaken your senses and make you smile with pleasure.

What really makes this course special is the understanding that how you eat is as important as what you eat, and that how you cook is as important as what you cook. Mindfulness will be a key theme throughout the course that you will be able to practise in a variety of ways. You will also learn how mindfulness and nutrition both work together to help reduce the impact of stress on your body, calm inflammation and improve energy levels.

This course provides substantial theory sessions delivered in a colourful and vibrant way that is easy to understand, alongside plenty of practical time in the kitchen. If you are a professional in either complementary health or catering, then the Bloom Cookery and Nutrition Course will provide you with 25 CPD points (Continuing Professional Development), and will bring both a deeper understanding of health issues and new skills to your work. We also welcome non-professionals to the course.
